SUMMARY:Fang Mountain Backpacking Trip - Aug 12th - 14th 2022
DESCRIPTION:We are heading back to Evanoff Provincial Park to take in two nights on breathtaking Fang Mountain! Once camp is set up you will enjoy some delicious appetizers and refresments followed by a hike up to the summit. The next day your guides will take you on an off trail adventure exploring the nearby range and adventuring to places no hiker has been before!\nCome enjoy this wild Northern mountain\, with two nights spent beside the meadows\, overlooking an alpine lake. This will be one of our most challenging trips as there is difficult terrain and steep parts to climb so rest assured your guides will be route finding & assisting you through every tricky moment of this ascent. The first day our hike to camp is 5 km and we will climb almost 1000 metres of elevation. We will cover around 10 km on our off trail hiking day\, before retiring to camp for our second night. You get to show up & enjoy your adventure vacation as we take care of all the details from safety\, camp arrangement\, camp kitchen set up\, transportation & guiding. Every guest will receive an itinerary & gear list once they are registered.\n  \n  \nActivity Level/Rating – Difficult\, we highly recommend you are a strong hiker prior to coming on this adventure. If this is something you want to work up to please reach out and we will suggest some prior hikes to come on to get you prepared for this Adventure. \n\nOption 1) You have all of your own gear\, food & are and are ready to adventure with us!\n$165 per person \n\nGuided hike & backcountry camping by an Apprentice ACMG Hiking Guide\, day of off trail hiking\nTransportation from Prince George\, BC to trail head & back\nAppetizers & refreshments\n\n\nOption 2) Don’t have your full set up yet\, not sure about food choices…. let us take care of all that for you with our all-inclusive package. Must have proper day hiking gear (boots\, water bladder etc) \n$265 per person \n\nGuided hike & backcountry camping by an Apprentice ACMG Hiking Guide\, day of off trail hiking\nTransportation from Prince George\, BC to trail head & back\nAppetizers & refreshments\nGear – backpack\, sleeping pad\, pillow\, sleeping bag\, tent\, food\, dry sacs\n\n  \nHave most of what you need but not quite everything? Rent pieces from us & purchase food at a discounted price. SUMMARY:Leprechaun Trail Hike - August 28th
DESCRIPTION:We will be heading to the Sugarbowl – Grizzly Den Provincial Park for this wicked adventure. This hike starts along the Grizzly Den trail…the start is a easy and gentle climb as we begin our ascent. From this trail we will cut off onto the Leprechaun Trail and up to Patts Pass. Once atop Patts Pass we will enjoy our lunch and take in the views. This is one of our favourite saddles as the terrain is extraordinary and we will take some time to explore up top. We will be heading down to the Grizzly Den cabin and looping back to the trail head. This hike should take 4-5 hours total\, including a lunch break.\nRated – Moderate. This hike is roughly a 12 km in and out trail & partial loop trail. Elevation gain of roughly 800 metres. No technical components \nMeeting – Meeting at spruce land mall out front the shoppers drug mart between 6:45am – 7am\, hitting the rd by 7am. Goal is to be back in PG by around 5pm\, depending on trail condition\, group pace & how long we want enjoy the day for! \n  \nWhat to bring-\n\nGear for all elements (gloves\, toque (for alpine) & Dress in synthetic layers – warmth\, rain. heat\, mosquitos!\nBackpack & water (2L)\nLunch\nGaiters (strongly recommended)\nPoles (strongly recommended)\nPad or backpacking chair to sit on\nBear spray if you have it\, please no bear bells\n\n\nWhats Included? \n\nGuided hike  (hike with an apprentice ACMG Guide who has extensive knowledge of area\, route\, terrain & are equipped to keep you safe while you have an amazing time on your adventure)\nSnacks & refreshments\nTransportation from PG to trail head & back\n\n****An email will be sent out to all group members 24 hours prior to go over meeting spot & any gear/info changes**** If you require any gear or have any questions please email us at theadventurebustours@gmail.com \n\nWe can’t wait to Adventure with you!\nThe Adventure Crew\nRefund Policy – Due to the nature of outdoor adventure and that we have many upfront costs\, all day adventures are non refundable However we can issue a credit for full amount that guest can use to a future adventure.
